TezDash

A live dashboard for your Tesla on iPhone: speed, power, battery, map with the route to your destination, tire pressures and what's playing, straight from the car over Bluetooth.

Which cars?

Tesla vehicles that support phone keys over Bluetooth: Model 3, Model Y, the refreshed Model S and X (2021 on) and Cybertruck. Older Model S and X do not support it.

Pairing

Sit in the car with your key card. In TezDash, enter the VIN and tap Pair. The car's screen asks for the key card: tap it on the centre console. Your phone then appears as a key under Controls › Locks on the car's screen, where you can also remove it at any time.

The car is not found

Stay within a few metres of the car with Bluetooth on. The car accepts a limited number of Bluetooth connections; if other phones or apps are connected, try again in a minute.

No data on the dash

The car must be awake; TezDash wakes it when it connects. If the status says the key is not paired, pair again.

Route line

When a destination is set on the car's screen, TezDash shows its name, arrival time and battery at arrival, and draws a route to it on the map. The car shares only the destination, not its own route, so the line is planned by Google Maps and can differ slightly from the car's.

Free plan and TezDash Pro

The free plan includes 10 minutes of live dashboard a day. When parked, you can watch a short ad for 10 more minutes; watch 4 in a day and the rest of that day is free. If the free time runs out while you drive, the dash switches to a simple view (speed, gear and battery) and stops when the car comes to a stop.

TezDash Pro removes the limit and the ads: monthly, yearly or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your Apple ID settings. After a reinstall or on a new phone, tap Restore purchases in Settings.

Safety

Set TezDash up before you drive and keep your eyes on the road. The app never shows ads while the car is moving.
